New Life Ministries VISION

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (Luke 4:18-19 KJV)

"how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." (Acts 10:38 KJV)

"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." (Proverbs 29:18 KJV)

"Where there is ignorance of God, the people run wild; but how great it is for a nation to know and keep His laws." (Proverbs 29:18 LB)

Vision in Hebrew means (sight) mentally, dream, or revelation.
Vision in Greek means to stare at, to discern clearly.

God's blue prints.

The faculty of sight: something that is or has been seen or the manner in which one sees or conceives of something.

Follow the blue prints of God's Word.

"My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh." (Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV)

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.." (Romans 12:2 KJV)

Renew your mind.

When our thinking and conversation (lifestyle) stay the same from the time we are born again, it means we have not matured and we have no vision.

TO FULFILL THE VISION WE NEED TO:

  • Have a vision of who we are in Christ.
  • Have a vision of ourselves and our brothers
    and sisters in Christ as finished products.
  • Keep Jesus, Lord of all we do.
    *by denying ourselves.
  • To progress in the Holy Spirit.
    *leadership will help you until you know
    how to walk in fullness of Christ properly.
"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time," (I Peter 5:6 KJV)
  1. "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any
    comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels
    and mercies,
  2. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same
    love, being of one accord, of one mind.
  3. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in
    lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
  4. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also
    on the things of others.
  5. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
  6. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to
    be equal with God:

TO WALK IN THE VISION WE MUST:

  1. Have consolation (comfort and exhortation)
  2. Walk in love (Agape-God kind of love)
  3. Be in fellowship (share and communicate,
    to nurture)
  4. Have (inward) affection
  5. Have compassion (tender heart)
  6. Be full of joy (cheerfulness, delight-not control)
  7. Be like minded (like Christ)
  8. Be in one accord (completeness, co-spirited)

THE VISION:

  1. Three hundred strong believers.
    *sold out to the Lord
    *nothing sways us
    *ready to train others
  2. Sixty mile area to reach out to a lost and dying world.
    Thank Him for the souls He is going to send us!

"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual uderstanding;
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God:
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;" (Colossians 1:9-11 KJV)

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15 KJV)

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit (unborn again souls) should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (John 15:16 KJV)
